Maryn Arreguín

Maryn Arreguín is a seasoned art director and designer with extensive experience in the children's publishing industry. Currently serving as Senior Art Director at Sourcebooks since May 2018, Maryn oversees art direction, layout, and cover design for various children's books and related products, while also managing illustrator relations. As a self-employed Brand Creative and Designer since June 2003, Maryn has developed branding initiatives and marketing materials for a diverse clientele. Previously, Maryn held the position of Senior Art Director at Phoenix International Publications, Inc., directing the design of interactive children’s books. Additional experience includes graphic design work for SC Christmas, Inc., and an internship at Fisher-Price. Maryn's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and English from the University of Notre Dame. Recently, Maryn contributed as guest faculty and speaker at the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators conference, presenting on the topic of growth mindset for creatives.
