Talia Platz is the Editorial Director at Sourcebooks, a role held since May 2023, following nearly a decade at Callisto Media, where Talia advanced from Senior Managing Editor to Editorial Director, overseeing significant growth and development within the adult and children's nonfiction publishing sectors. Talia's expertise includes product strategy, title development across various categories, and management of a large editorial team, contributing to both startup and established publishing environments. Previous experience encompasses editing at Insight Editions, where Talia worked on bestselling titles, and assistant editing at Penguin Group USA, with a focus on commercial fiction and nonfiction. Talia holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Italian from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed the Columbia University Publishing Course in 2008.
