Gaurav Singh is an Associate Data Scientist at IDFC FIRST Bank since January 2023, focusing on Customer Attrition Prediction and communication strategies within the banking sector. Previously, Gaurav worked as a Data Scientist at Mindtree, where a Brand Monitoring web application was developed using Natural Language Processing to analyze Twitter user feedback for competitive insights. Gaurav's early experience includes roles such as Student Associate at SAE International, Campus Recruitment Coordinator, and Internship Coordinator at the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, achieving 100% placement. Internships were completed at prominent organizations including the Gas Turbine Research Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation, and Elite Techno Group, with projects focusing on gear dimensions for jet engines, composite materials for bulletproof jackets, and fabricating an All Terrain Vehicle. Gaurav holds a Master of Management in Business Analytics from the Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Srinagar.
