Peter Guy

Peter Guy is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer currently working at Sourcegraph since December 2022. Prior to Sourcegraph, Peter held multiple roles at VRC Insurance Systems from April 2003 to December 2022, including VRC Fellow, Manager of Research and Development, Senior Supervising Software Engineer, Supervising Software Engineer, Consulting Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. Key contributions included designing infrastructure for new products, developing iOS applications, managing R&D teams, and improving database and network performance. Earlier, Peter worked at Telsurf Networks Inc as a Software Application Engineer and Network Administrator, focusing on database development, customer management interfaces, and corporate networks. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge, attained in May 2010.
