Jarno Walgemoed

Jarno Walgemoed has a strong background in software engineering and architecture. Jarno started their career in 2010 as a Java Trainer at Gouw IT. Jarno then worked as a Java Software Architect at IPROFS, MailPlus, and JPoint. In 2011, they joined Fa-med B.V. as a Scrum Master, Lead Developer, and Architect. Jarno later worked at Rabobank as a Java Specialist. In 2014, Jarno joined bol.com as a Tech Lead and Architect, where they were responsible for designing and implementing API standards and conventions. In 2017, they co-founded Sourcelabs B.V., where they hold the position of Director, Co-founder, and Agile Software Engineer. Currently, they are working as a Software Architect at Cost Engineering.

Jarno Walgemoed obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hogere Informatica from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) between 1998 and 2003. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification as a Sun Certified Java Programmer from Sun Microsystems in June 2005.
