Stephan Oudmaijer

Stephan Oudmaijer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role is as a Senior Software Engineer at TNO, where they are responsible for designing and implementing a demonstrator based on distributed ledger technology and a semantic data model. Prior to TNO, Stephan was a co-founder and Agile Software Engineer at Sourcelabs B.V. Stephan also had their own company, Oudmaijer IT B.V., where they worked as an Owner.

Before that, Stephan worked at bol.com as a Senior Software Engineer, Scrum Master, and Team Lead. Stephan also served as the End Boss (CTO/CIO/CFO/CEO) at Oudmaijer IT. Stephan also gained experience at KLM as a Senior Java Consultant and Infrastructure Pioneer, where they implemented an internal IaaS with OpenStack and Ceph and automated the development infrastructure rollout.

Earlier in their career, Stephan worked as a Java Specialist at bol.com and as a Java EE developer at AirFrance/KLM. Stephan also held roles at IPROFS as a Software Architect and at Ordina J-Technologies as a Software Architect and as an Innovation Board Member, where they tracked innovation in the Java software development community.

Throughout their career, Stephan has gained extensive experience in software engineering, Agile methodologies, team leadership, and infrastructure implementation.

Stephan Oudmaijer completed their Bachelor's degree in Hogere Informatica from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 1998 to 2003. Stephan also pursued a course in Belastingrecht from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in 1998-1999. Prior to that, they attended Alberdingk Thijm College from 1997 to 1998 and obtained the degree of 5VWO+. Stephan completed their Havo degree from Goois Lyceum between 1991 and 1996.

In addition to their formal education, Stephan Oudmaijer attained several certifications. Stephan earned the certification of Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in June 2010. Stephan also obtained the Sun Certified Java Developer certification from Sun Microsystems in August 2006 and Sun Certified Java Programmer certification in September 2003.
