Umit Can Sahingil

Umit Can Sahingil has a diverse work experience, starting with an internship at Kayalar Kimya A.S. in 2012. In 2015, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Apro Aluminium, where they were responsible for managing the powder coating production line for IKEA, including start-up and production management. From 2017 to 2019, Umit worked as a Technical Sales Representative at PPG Industries. In 2019, they joined Assan Alüminyum as a Painted Technologies Senior Specialist. Currently, Umit is employed at Sourcemap: the Supply Chain Transparency Company, initially as a Customer Support Specialist and currently as a Customer Support Manager.

Umit Can Sahingil completed their Engineer's degree in Chemical Engineering from Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. In 2021, they also completed a Language Course in French Language at Institut Français d'Istanbul. Before that, from 2014 to 2015, they attended EC English Language Centres Alumni, although no degree is mentioned for this period. Prior to pursuing higher education, Umit attended Adana Ticaret Odasi Anadolu Lisesi from 2004 to 2008, focusing on Maths and Science in German.
