Tom Salfield is an innovator and technologist with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of internet technology and new forms of productive organization. As co-founder and CTO of Wikifactory from 2015 to 2024, Tom built the world's first collaborative manufacturing platform, advancing the "Internet of Production." Previously, Tom served as a partner at Uniteddiversity LLP, focusing on improving quality of life and reducing ecological footprints, and co-founded impact-driven initiatives such as The Open Co-op and Impact Hub Network. Currently, Tom is the co-founder and CTO of SourcePilot, where they leverage AI to optimize component sourcing for product developers. Tom holds an MSc in Computing Science from Imperial College London and a BSc in Philosophy and Economics from the London School of Economics.
