Andre Herculano

Andre Herculano has a range of experience in the field of software engineering. Andre is currently an Engineering Manager at Sourcepoint, where they lead the development team and focuses on mobile initiatives. Prior to this, Andre worked as a Senior Software Engineer at NuBinary, where they worked on various projects and collaborated with clients to bring ideas to life. Andre also held the position of Senior FullStack Engineer at LabRecruit, where they developed a platform for storing and retrieving information about hiring candidates. Andre's experience includes working as a Fullstack Consultant at ThoughtWorks, where they not only delivered high-quality features but also coached and up-skilled developers and clients in Agile and XP methodologies. Earlier in their career, Andre worked as a Fullstack Engineer at Babbel and as a Fullstack Developer at Cortona. Andre also co-founded Cfaz.net, a SaaS platform for Dentists and Radiology professionals. Andre gained mobile development experience at ABB, and their career began as a Trainee at Infosys. Throughout their various roles, Andre has worked with a wide range of technologies, including ReactJs, Swift, Java, Android, iOS, JavaScript, Kafka, AWS, Ruby on Rails, Elixir, Phoenix, MongoDB, Redis, Memcache, and D3.

Andre Herculano attended Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in Técnico em Eletromecânica in the field of Electromechanical Technology/Electromechanical Engineering Technology. Andre then continued their education at the same institution from 2007 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Engineering.
