John Shearer is a software developer with extensive experience in full stack development and web technology. Currently employed at Sourceree since January 2023, John previously served as a Senior Full Stack Developer at June Media Inc from August 2015 to August 2019, where responsibilities included managing the development and maintenance of a portfolio of ten lifestyle websites, overseeing a team of developers, and maintaining vital infrastructure. Before that, John worked as a Full Stack Developer and Director of Web Technology at Rachael Ray Digital / Watch Entertainment from December 2008 to December 2014, where John was responsible for building the LAMP back-end and HTML5/CSS3 front-end for key websites. John holds a BFA in Studio Arts from the University of Illinois Chicago and pursued further education at Columbia University.
