Nicholas Thapen

Nick Thapen is the CTO of Sourcery, a company that provides automated code reviews and refactoring for software development teams. Nick was previously a Research Associate at Imperial College London, where they worked on a project using Twitter to detect real world events and then to provide automated summaries of them. Nick has also worked as a Senior Analyst/Programmer (Consultant) at JHC LLP and as a Software Architect at JHC.

Nick Thapen has a Master of Arts in Mathematics & Philosophy from the University of Oxford, a Master's degree in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from Imperial College London, and certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing. Nick also has certification from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) in Investment Administration Qualification and from Sun Microsystems in Sun Certified Java Programmer. Finally, they have certification from The Training Foundation in TAP Foundation Certificate in Training Delivery.
