John Sim has over 20 years of professional experience. John started their career in 1996 as the Managing Director of Integrated Chemicals Pte Ltd. In 2010, they moved to Global Premium Products as the CEO. Since 2015, they have been the Executive Vice President of Finance and Procurement at SourceSage.

John Sim obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 1980. John then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Strategic Marketing Management from the Marketing Institute of Singapore in 1989.
