Naomi Nelson

Naomi Nelson, LPCC, has a diverse background in mental health and client support, beginning as a Client Support Specialist at Provista Diagnostics, Inc. From 2016 to 2018, Naomi served as the Central Minnesota Regional Navigator with Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, focusing on assisting youth affected by sexual exploitation. Currently, Naomi is the Clinical Director and Mental Health Therapist at The Way Mental Health Services, a rural nonprofit clinic designed to address mental health care gaps in Central Minnesota. Previous roles include Mental Health Therapist at Lakes Country Counseling and Director of Mental Health Ministry at The Log Church. Naomi's therapeutic approach integrates various modalities, including Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to support clients experiencing trauma and mental health challenges. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from St. Cloud State University.
