Johan Rylander is the COO of South Bay, an alternative investment firm specializing in early-stage companies and innovative real estate solutions in the Nordic region. Previously, they served as Director - Debt Finance country lead for Sweden at NREP, where they led a team, negotiated over 40 real estate debt packages, and participated in more than 70 transactions with a total value of approximately 4,000mEUR. Johan also has extensive experience in auditing and accounting, having held various roles at PwC in both Sweden and Australia, including Approved Public Accountant and team leader for audits of large financial and real estate companies. They earned a Master of Science in Business Administration from Linköping University and studied Economics at the University of Oklahoma. Additionally, Johan served as a Platoon Leader in the Swedish Army.
