South Florida Intervention offers individualized solutions for organizations, and addicts and their families, struggling with the devastating effects of addiction. Our services are customized to help solve each client’s unique challenges. We believe the disease of addiction is systemic in nature and impairs family members as well as addicted individuals. Our philosophy is long term sobriety is accomplished through a systemic approach of healing the individual and their families.

South Florida Intervention was founded by Marc Kantor who completed treatment for substance abuse disorder at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in 2004. In 2008 he received extensive training in crisis and suicide prevention from PRS/CrisisLink to work as a counselor on the crisis and suicide prevention hotline for the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. He served as a member of the organization’s board of directors for three years.

Beginning in 2013, Marc Kantor began training as an addiction interventionist under the renowned expertise of John Southworth and Ken Seeley. In 2014 he earned his credentials from the Pennsylvania Pacer Board as a Certified Intervention Professional (“CIP”). From 2013 to 2018, Marc Kantor served on the board of directors for Active Minds, a nationally recognized mental health organization.

South Florida Intervention specializes in interventions and transportation. However, Marc is a well-spoken presenter and facilitator that has a gift for group and corporate speaking as an individual that battled addiction at the height of his career. Further, South Florida Intervention was founded to guide addicts and their families every step of the way, including choosing the right treatment center, navigating and minimizing the financial investment, ensuring a plan for individual success, and providing guidance through long-term recovery.
