Dylan Marks serves as the Policy Lead for the City CDR Initiative, a non-profit focused on integrating carbon removal into urban planning globally while promoting innovation and local economic growth. Dylan has been with South Pole since April 2021, progressing through various roles to become Lead of Carbon Removals, and is also a Lead for Carbon Removals at Airfix, a subsidiary of South Pole dedicated to developing the Biomass Carbon Removal and Storage market. Previous experience includes working as a Collaborator at the NextGen CDR Facility, an Analyst at C4 EcoSolutions, and internships with L.E.K. Consulting and Ashinaga, alongside a solid academic foundation with multiple degrees in climate change and engineering from prestigious institutions.
