Chris Dummer is an experienced mining professional with a strong background in production engineering and project management. At South32, from August 2021 to October 2023, Chris held the position of Senior Production Engineer. Prior experience includes various roles within BHP Billiton and BHP, ranging from an Undergraduate Mining Engineer to multiple Mining Graduate positions, including Drill and Blast Engineer and Underground Supervisor, from November 2014 to February 2017. Chris also worked at South32 in several capacities between September 2018 and April 2020, including Drill and Blast Engineer and Senior Mid-Term Scheduler. Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining and Geotechnical Engineering with Honours Class I from The University of Queensland, completed in 2015, and graduated from Grace Lutheran College in 2011 with an OP 3.
