Dane Tappenden

Dane Tappenden possesses extensive experience in maintenance and engineering management, currently serving in multiple roles at South32 since May 2015, including Maintenance Superintendent, Engineering Manager, and Operations Manager, with a focus on major shutdown execution and calcination management. Prior experience includes serving as Maintenance Superintendent at BHP from July 2012 to May 2015, and as a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer at Queensland Nickel from January 2008 to July 2012. Earlier roles at BHP involved reliability and shutdown engineering for mobile equipment and dragline and shovel operations. Dane Tappenden holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from CQUniversity, completed in 2004.
