Ember Flagg

Ember Flagg is a Senior Underground Geologist and Supervisor at South32’s Hermosa Project, where they focus on critical mineral production. With over 15 years of experience in the mining industry, Ember has honed skills in mine planning, ore control, and drill program management. They have held various positions, including Core Logger and Exploration Geologist at companies such as Goldcorp Inc., Millrock Resources Inc., and Kinross Gold Corporation. Ember is also a licensed professional geologist and a certified emergency medical responder, dedicated to safety and sustainability in mining operations. As a mentor for the Society of Economic Geologists, SME, and Women in Mining, they are passionate about fostering diversity and inclusion within the geological community.
