Kalem Wright

Kalem Wright is an experienced professional in exploration and planning within the mining industry, currently serving as Lead Brownfields Exploration Planning and previously as Principal Brownfields Exploration Planning at South32 since May 2015. Prior to this role, Kalem held several positions at BHP Billiton from September 2008 to May 2015, including Superintendent Exploration, Superintendent Near Mine Exploration, Exploration Geoscientist, and Acting Exploration Manager. Earlier experience includes working as an Exploration Geologist at Perilya from January 2005 to September 2008. Kalem holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Queensland (2015), a Master's in Economic Geology from the University of Tasmania (2009), and a Bachelor of Earth Sciences (Honours) from Deakin University (2004), along with a semester abroad at the University of the Pacific in 2003.
