Mark Beccard

Mark Beccard is an experienced HR and remuneration professional with a robust background in leading reward and benefits functions across various organizations. Currently serving as GM of Reward & Benefits at South32 since June 2021, Mark previously held roles at Methanex Corporation as Human Resources Supervisor and South32 as Manager of Remuneration. Mark's extensive tenure at Shell included leadership in Australia HR Policy & Remuneration as well as other key HR roles. Prior experience also includes positions with Staples Rodway New Zealand, the Royal New Zealand Air Force as a Base Psychologist, and Fonterra in human resources roles. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Canterbury and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington.
