Robert Wilson

Robert Wilson is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in exploration geology. Currently serving as the Manager of Hermosa Exploration at South32 since October 2021, Wilson previously held the role of Senior Exploration Geologist. Prior experience includes a tenure at Barrick Gold Corporation from October 2012 to September 2021, where Wilson worked as a geologist focused on exploration. Academic contributions include positions as a Research Assistant at The University of Georgia, where Wilson assisted in sulfur isotope research related to core samples from the Livengood Gold Mine and also engaged in subsurface geology mapping and analysis. Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology from The University of Georgia in 2012.
