Tim Smith

Tim Smith currently serves as the IT Associate Director at the University of Georgia, a position held since April 2015, where leadership is provided for all IT functions in Student Affairs. Responsibilities include managing a team of four professionals to support over 325 computer workstations, oversee software installations, ensure data security, manage equipment inventory, and facilitate staff training. Tim also holds the role of Instant Replay Technician for the Southeastern Conference since July 2005. Prior experience includes working as an IT Professional at Georgia Regents University, where strategic technology initiatives were implemented for the College of Nursing, and as an IT Professional Specialist at the University of Georgia. Tim's education includes studies at Athens Technical College.
