Michael Valverde

Michael Valverde is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in financial software development, consulting, and education. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Southern Software, Inc. since November 2015, Michael leads the development of financial software for municipalities, encompassing various functionalities such as payroll and tax billing. As the owner of Small Shop Solutions, an independent consulting firm, Michael specializes in application development and database management. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Troygroup, Inc. and Senior Developer positions at ACS Technologies and Horry Telephone Cooperative, among others. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Information Management from Webster University and has taught multiple computer technology courses at Northeastern Technical College.
