Dean Richards

Dean Richards is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering, product support, and sales management. Currently serving as a Transit Specialist at Texcan since February 2023, Dean has been with Southwire Company since April 2006, where Dean has held multiple leadership roles including Manager of Engineering and Product Support, Regional Manager of Industrial Sales, Vice President of Industrial Sales, and Vice President of Retail Sales. Dean's expertise encompasses DC Power, Transit OCS, Medium Voltage AC power supply systems, and driving market share in the Canadian industrial, mining, and transit sectors. Prior to Southwire, Dean held positions at The Home Depot Canada, where responsibilities included new store openings and merchandising, and operated as President-Owner of Goldstream Cabinets. Educational qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from NAIT and a Matriculation in Science and Religion from Concordia University of Edmonton.
