Gina Smith

Gina Smith, MPH, is a Senior Environment Health Safety Specialist at Southwire Company, where leadership in EHS programs has been demonstrated at a STAR VPP certified copper manufacturing facility. Achievements include successful site recertification and management of a 500-member team without senior manager oversight. Prior experience includes serving as an Environment, Health and Safety Manager for a smaller team during a facility transition, as well as roles at Amazon, Atlanta Public Schools, City Year New Orleans, and Teleflex Incorporated, where regulatory affairs were addressed as an intern. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health from Georgia State School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Mathematics from Xavier University of Louisiana.
