John Spence

John Spence, CMRP, currently serves as the Maintenance Manager at Southwire Company, overseeing facilities maintenance and project installation teams across west Georgia and east Alabama. Previously, John held the position of Maintenance Manager at Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America, managing a 60-person team across a 1.3 million square foot campus, and at Tosca, where John implemented critical systems for maintenance operations. Early in the career, John progressed from Senior Maintenance Technician to Maintenance Supervisor at Southwire Company, managing electrical technicians and millwrights, while also honing skills as Operations Manager at WayMar Farms. John is pursuing a Diploma of Education in Maintenance and Reliability Management from North Carolina State University.
