Héctor Fernández

Héctor Fernández currently serves as a Principal Compliance Tax Services Representative at Sovos, a position held since September 2019. Prior experience includes roles at Hertz from August 2017 to September 2019, focusing on indirect tax for VAT in Ireland and the Netherlands, as well as general accounting responsibilities within the tax department related to Spanish VAT and corporate income taxes. Previous positions also include a Tax Lawyer at BROSETA from March 2015 to February 2017, and a legal advisor at the Gerencia Municipal de Urbanismo de Cuenca in early 2014. Héctor holds a Law Degree and a Master's in International Tax Law from the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha and is pursuing a Chartered Tax Advisor designation from the Irish Tax Institute.
