Steven Kirchner

Steven Kirchner is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in technology licensing and compliance. As Senior Counsel at Sovos Compliance since June 2016, Steven specializes in software and technology licensing transactions, strategic partnership agreements, and corporate matters. Previously, Steven held various roles at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, including Senior Contracts Specialist - Attorney and Product Manager, where the focus was on contract negotiations, risk management, and regulatory compliance solutions. Prior to that, Steven served as Associate Attorney at Burke and Associates, managing litigation and tax representation. Steven's career began with positions as Associate Law Extern at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, and Associate Intern at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. Steven holds a JD from Boston College Law School and a BA in Chemistry, English, and Pre-Med from the College of the Holy Cross.
