Caitlin Higgins

Caitlin Higgins, CPA has a diverse work experience in the accounting field. Caitlin is currently working as the Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting at Sovrn since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at KPMG, starting as an intern in January to March 2015. Caitlin then progressed to become an Audit Associate from September 2016 to July 2018 and later as a Senior Audit Associate from July 2018 to June 2021. Their last role at KPMG was as an Audit Manager from July 2021 to April 2022. Caitlin also gained teaching experience at the University of Denver where they served as a Teaching Assistant for introductory accounting courses from January to June 2016. During this time, they were responsible for grading, teaching weekly labs, and holding office hours. Additionally, they worked as an Accounting Tutor from August 2014 to June 2016. Prior to their time at the University of Denver, Caitlin interned at Community Financial Credit Union from June 2012 to July 2013 and at Boulder Valley IPA from June 2007 to July 2011.

Caitlin Higgins, CPA, obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from the University of Denver, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Caitlin further pursued their education at the same institution and completed a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree in Accounting from 2015 to 2016.
