Roberto Parlato

Roberto Parlato has extensive experience in software engineering and development. Roberto is currently working as a Software Engineer II at Sovrn since July 2021. Previously, they were a Senior Software and AWS Developer at Monetizer101 (Acquired by Sovrn) from October 2020 to July 2021.

Prior to that, Roberto worked at Edenred Italia as a Senior Application Developer from October 2019 to October 2020. In this role, they developed a RESTful API as microservices using Spring Boot for the UTA App, a fuel card management system. Roberto also managed a secondary team for test coordination, developed Junit tests for microservices, and created API documentation with Swagger.

Before joining Edenred Italia, Roberto held positions at Consoft Sistemi and CSI-Piemonte as a Software Application Developer from September 2019 to October 2019. Roberto also completed an internship as a Java Developer at Consoft Sistemi, where they worked on a module for managing clinical reports.

Earlier in their career, Roberto worked at Parlatoweb as a Project Manager & Team Leader Developer from September 2013 to March 2019. Roberto also completed internships at TIM as a Java Developer & Digital Marketer and at PRC Multimedia as a Team Leader Developer.

Throughout their career, Roberto has demonstrated their expertise in software engineering, application development, and API design. Their experience spans various industries and roles, showcasing their versatility and adaptability in different project environments.

Roberto Parlato obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Torino from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended ITIS G.B. Pininfarina from 2011 to 2016, where they received a High School Diploma in Technical Institute from Computer Expert, with a focus on Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Roberto has obtained several certifications. These include the GCP Developer Enablement Program and the Nexi Dev Training Program from Codemotion, obtained in August 2020. Roberto is also an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, certified by Amazon Web Services in February 2020. Roberto holds a Reactive Architecture Certificate from Lightbend, Inc., obtained in December 2019, as well as a Secure Code Fundamentals Certificate from Cybrary. Roberto has also completed a course on Agile Methodologies and SCRUM Framework from XPeppers, for which they received a Certificate of attendance in November 2019.

Roberto Parlato has acquired additional certifications such as MongoDB Basics Certificate from MongoDB University in November 2019, and Ethical Hacking with JavaScript certificate from LinkedIn in May 2019. Outside of their technical expertise, they hold a First Aid Certificate obtained from the Italian Red Cross in July 2016.
