Anna Linne

Anna Linne is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as Associate General Counsel and Head of AI, Data & IP Legal at S&P Global since June 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing enterprise AI, intellectual property, and data legal functions. Previously, Anna held multiple roles at S&P Global, including Chief IP Counsel, managing intellectual property enforcement and worldwide patent and trademark portfolios. Prior to S&P Global, Anna worked at ADP as Senior Counsel in Intellectual Property Law and at IBM in various senior roles focusing on intellectual property matters and patent-related support. Anna began a career in IT before transitioning to law, contributing as a lecturer at the University of Maryland University College. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Columbia University, a J.D. from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, an MBA in Strategy from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, and a B.S. in Geology from Nanjing University.
