Daniel Evans

Daniel Evans is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in refining, fuels marketing, and energy research. Currently serving as Vice President at S&P Global since March 2022, Daniel leads global initiatives in refined products, refining, and the impacts of the energy transition on the downstream sector. Prior to this role, Daniel held a similar position at IHS Markit, where responsibilities included managing a team of approximately 50 and overseeing global refining and marketing research. Daniel's career also includes significant roles at IHS, Statoil, PFC Energy, and engineering firms Buro Happold and Arup, encompassing various strategic, consulting, and project management responsibilities. Daniel holds a First Class MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Leeds and has studied at the University of California, Berkeley.
