Daniel Montoya

Daniel Montoya, CFA, is a Direct Indexing and Model Portfolio Specialist with extensive experience in managing multi-asset class portfolios and client relationships. They played a key role in developing proprietary direct indexing strategies at BlackRock, securing over $200 million from major clients during an initial funding round. Daniel also led the rollout of UCIT ETF model portfolios that raised over $250 million from ultra-high-net-worth clients in Mexico and managed significant ESG/SRI relationships with various institutions. Currently, they serve as an Associate Director at S&P Global. Daniel holds a BBA in Economics and Finance from The University of Texas at El Paso and an MBA in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from Southern Methodist University.
