Ewa Root is a seasoned professional in the automotive forecasting industry, currently serving as the Director and global lead of the heavy commercial vehicle sales forecasting team at S&P Global since April 2022. Prior to this role, Ewa held various positions at IHS Markit, including Associate Director, where oversight of the heavy commercial vehicle sales forecasting team and market trend analysis was performed. Ewa's career began at Standard & Poor's as a Data Analyst, with subsequent roles at British Airways, DRI-WEFA, Global Insight, and IHS, each focusing on market analysis and forecasting in the automotive sector, particularly in the Central and Eastern European regions. Ewa holds a Master of Science degree in Economics, Finance, and Mathematics from Wroclaw University of Economics, Poland.
