Glenn Rickson

Glenn Rickson is an experienced professional in European electricity markets, currently serving as the Associate Director of Short-Term European Power Analysis at S&P Global Commodity Insights. Their career began after university as an electricity meter data collection agent for National Grid, and they subsequently spent a decade as the European Power Editor at Heren Energy, where they developed the European Daily Electricity Market report. After a brief freelance stint at Energy Intelligence, they returned to focus on power analysis at Eclipse Energy, contributing to a European power wholesale market price forecasting service. Since 2014, Glenn has been with S&P Global, leading the European Power Analysis team and driving the development of market-leading forecasting services amidst the evolving landscape of European power markets.
