Hiro Sano is the Head of Japan for Energy Consulting at S&P Global, a role they currently hold after previously serving as Director of Energy Consulting at IHS Markit. Hiro has extensive experience in industry consulting, having held leadership positions at IHS and the Economist Intelligence Unit. They began their career as a marketing consultant at Monterey Bay Whalewatch and later managed automotive projects at Synovate. Hiro earned a BA from Rikkyo University and an MA from Duke University.
