They have previously held roles as a Senior Writer for natural gas and Senior Editor for LNG at S&P Global Platts, where they were instrumental in launching new market reports and engaging with clients. J's experience also includes owning a commodities brokerage, serving as a market reporter for Argus Media, and teaching as an adjunct professor at Lone Star College. They hold a PhD in Political Science from Rice University, along with a Master's degree from the same institution and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
