Jeff Plotkin

Dr. Jeff Plotkin is the Vice President of Training in Petrochemicals at S&P Global, bringing over 43 years of experience in the petrochemical industry from both operating companies and consulting firms. Previously, they served as Vice President at Chem Systems/Nexant and IHS Markit, where they focused on training and education for the industry. Dr. Plotkin co-authored the textbook “Industrial Organic Chemicals, third edition” and has contributed to the American Chemical Society's “Patent Watch.” They hold a PhD in organometallic chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from PACE University, and have been a post-doctoral research fellow at The Ohio State University.
