John Murray, MSc, MBA, is a Principal Analyst at S&P Global Energy, where they provide data-driven insights and analysis in the renewable energy sector. With a rich background in geology, John served in various significant roles at Equinor, including Senior Geologist and Subsurface Project Lead, focusing on North American assets. Prior to that, they worked as a Flood Incident Management Officer at the Environment Agency and contributed to geochemical projects with the British Geological Survey. Currently pursuing advanced degrees at Imperial College London and The University of Manchester, John combines their technical expertise with market analytics as the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Waverly Meade Investments.
