John Phipps

John Phipps is currently the Vice President and Head of Asia Pacific & Latin America for Government Affairs and Public Policy at S&P Global. Previously, they served as a Director of Asia Trade Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and held various senior roles in organizations such as Visa and IBM, where they specialized in government relations and public policy initiatives across multiple regions. John has also contributed to international business development at Marubeni America Corporation and has been involved in significant trade agreements, including the US-Vietnam Bilateral Trade Agreement. They are pursuing an MBA in Finance at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School and have undertaken further studies in international commerce, policy, and management leadership.
