Mark Callahan is currently the Director of Americas Natural Gas Pricing at S&P Global Energy, a role Mark has held since 2016. Previously, Mark served as Editorial Director for both North American and Global Gas and Power Pricing at Platts from 2014 to 2015 and has extensive experience in energy trading and management, having worked with companies such as Velocity Merchant Energy, Westar Energy, and Sempra Energy Trading. Mark began their career in the energy sector as an Assistant Trader at TrendLogic Associates in the early 1990s and accumulated a strong educational background with a BS in Finance from Fairfield University and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
