Mark Schwartz

Mark Schwartz is the Managing Director at S&P Global Platts, a position held since 2016. They also serve as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs since 2012. Prior to this, Mark was the President of PIRA Energy Group from 2002 until its acquisition by S&P Global Platts in 2016 and held various roles, including Chief Economist, at ExxonMobil from 2001 to 2002. Mark earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from The George Washington University.
