Martin Doherty is the Director of Software Engineering at S&P Global Energy. They previously held the position of Associate Director at S&P Global from 2023 to 2025 and served as a Technical Lead. Martin has extensive experience in software engineering, having worked as a Software Engineer at Picdar from 1996 to 2008 and as Chief Architect at Nstein Technologies from 2008 to 2010. They also contributed to OpenText as Chief Architect and Product Manager from 2010 to 2011 and later as a Product Manager for the Content Hub for Publishers from 2014 to 2020. Martin earned an MEng in Software Engineering from Imperial College London between 1992 and 1996.
