Neil Stein

Neil Stein is a seasoned financial professional with extensive expertise in credit analysis, particularly within the insurance sector, including property/casualty, life, reinsurance, and global brokerage. Since joining S&P Global in 2007 as Managing Director & Sector Lead, Neil has focused on maintaining high analytical standards and consistency. Prior experience includes serving as Director at ABN AMRO from 1998 to 2007, where leadership was provided to manage a significant risk portfolio of over 100 clients valued at more than $50 billion. Earlier in the career, Neil was a Financial Analyst at A.M. Best Company, assessing life and health insurance companies. Neil holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Long Island University, earned in 1991.
