Nick Nelson

Nick Nelson is currently the Associate Director of the Cross Practice Analytical Team in Fund Finance at S&P Global, where they focus on credit research and ratings for private equity, venture capital funds, and securities firms. They previously worked as an Analyst on private equity funds and hedge funds at S&P Global, where they developed skills in financial modeling and credit analysis. Nick began their career in an epigenetic cancer research lab at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, utilizing statistical software to gather insights from DNA sequencing. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Cell & Molecular Biology and Microbiology from Oklahoma State University, where they also participated in undergraduate research.
