Nicolas Charnay

Nicolas Charnay is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in credit rating and research focused on European financial institutions. Currently serving as Managing Director - Sector Lead at S&P Global since January 2022, Nicolas previously held roles as Senior Director and Adviser at the European Central Bank from September 2014 to December 2021, and as Team Lead in Banking Supervision. Earlier in their career, Nicolas worked at Moody's Investors Service as an Associate Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group from January 2010 to July 2014. Academically, Nicolas holds a Master's degree in Financial and Managerial Economics from HEC Paris and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
