Patrick Luckow is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in energy systems and environmental economics. Currently serving as a Director at S&P Global since August 2017, Patrick developed allowance price forecasts for cap and trade programs across North America and oversaw critical analyses for renewable energy credit markets. Previously, as a Senior Associate at Synapse Energy Economics, Patrick managed evaluations of electric power systems and their policy impacts using advanced modeling techniques. Earlier roles include a Scientist position at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, researching biomass and wind energy resources, and research and internship positions that focused on mechanical engineering applications. Patrick holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University and the University of Maryland, respectively.
