Robert James is currently the VP of Finance, Commercial at S&P Global Platts, where they lead decision support and financial planning and analysis for business functions, partnering with senior executives to exceed EBITA targets through strategic cost controls and revenue improvements. Previously, they served as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the McGraw-Hill (UK) Retirement Benefits Plan and held various finance leadership roles at Citigroup and Thomson Reuters, including Head of Finance for UK Retail Bank and Commodities & Energy. Robert earned an LLB in Law from The University of Birmingham between 1994 and 1997.
