Sander van Loo

Sander van Loo is a highly experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and product management. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering at S&P Global since March 2022, Sander oversees Distribution and Data Platforms Delivery. Sander has held multiple managing director roles at reputable firms, including IHS Global B.V. and Markit N.V., and has extensive experience at IHS Markit, focusing on data delivery and access to financial and economic data products. Additionally, Sander is an investment partner at Great Stuff Ventures and an advisory board member for Vascobelo. With a solid educational foundation in computer science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Sander also possesses commercial helicopter pilot qualifications.
